OFW Myra (Fames Mahogany X Fauzia HCF by Lyphard) Every farms got one; the one horse that started it all. Purchased from Dolly and Harold Orr of Orrion Farms at 6 months old, this mare is our anchor and foundation mare. What drew me to this mare originally was her personality; to this day I believe that she picked me out in the field that day. I’d love to say that I went to Orrion farms with a well thought out plan and pedigree in hand but alas I just saw her and she’s been mine ever since.
Sired by Fames Mahogany (Fame VF X Oh Mi Mahogany), OFW Myra has the pedigree that stands the test of time. With such greats as Fame VF, Beh Shah, Lyphard, Padron and Sanacht in her pedigree, it’s easy to see how she could start a breeding program of her own. This chestnut beauty has it all; exceptional confirmation, great movement and an excellent personality with a willing attitude that gets the job done every time. Shown in halter in Washington states as a yearling, Myra did well and in fact was Grand Champion her first show.
Having seen the kind of baby the Myra has produced just makes us all that more excited about the future. Please have a look at our Farm news section and see the beautiful Wild Bay colt that Myra presented us with in April 2005.

Unfortunately Myra sustained a considerable injury in December 2005. Having had to go thru two surgeries and with almost a two year recovery, Myra is finally turning the corner. Due to this injury, we have had to postpone breeding her till next year. Myra will be bred to Tamaal FA for the 2008 season and why are highly anticipating the foal from this cross. Sired by Ali Jamaal and out of a Bey Shah mare, Tamaal FA presents an excellent opportunity to produce a show quality, beautiful foal.

DS Silver Rasheeka (The Silver Ghost X DS Elegant Venture by GH Venture) Our next acquisition was DS Silver Rasheeka ( The Silver Ghost X DS Elegant Venture by GH Venture). This tall leggy grey yearling filly is just a delight to watch and interact with. One never really knows where to look with this filly as there is just so much to see! Rasheeka has excellent type, small tippy ears, long refined neck and the most liquid eyes that one could hope for in a horse. Her confirmation is excellent with wonderfully straight legs, beautiful hip and shoulder and the icing on the cake; the most beautiful mane and tail. That’s what you notice when she’s standing still, then she starts to move and she’ll simply take your breathe away. A natural born show off, she loves to ham it up for the crowd and with her polish heritage shining through, she simply floats by with the most glorious trot and presence. Showing a definite flair for the English arena we simply can’t wait to start this lovely girl under saddle.

Seems like it takes forever but this lovely beauty was started under Western saddle this spring. Showing an amazing desire to work and please her rider she's been a dream to start this year. She left the farm for two full months of training and came back raring to go. We are spending this year just putting on the miles and working towards going onto the trails by the end of the summer. Pictures simply do not do this mare justice, she really has to been seen to be appreciated. Now in the early summer of 2008, Rasheeka is in training and being riden daily and improving in leaps and bounds. She's now being offered for sale to the right home.
